How do I copy a tab group?
Click the extension icon and pick a group – its links are on your clipboard. The group you are in is already selected, so Enter is enough. Even faster: Alt+G copies it without opening anything.
Links, Title + link or Markdown – which one?
Links gives one link per line – best for to-do lists, Google Keep and sharing. Title + link puts the page title before every link – best for AI chats, because the AI then knows what each page is. Markdown turns into clickable titles in Notion, Obsidian or GitHub; elsewhere you would see the brackets.
How does “Save to Google Keep” work?
After copying, one more click opens Google Keep and creates a note with the group's name and links – in your own account, right in your browser. The first time, Chrome asks once for access to keep.google.com. Shift-click also closes the group.
Does closing the group delete anything?
It closes the tabs, just like closing them yourself – nothing else. You can bring them back with Ctrl+Shift+T (Mac: ⌘⇧T) or from your history. A whole window is never closed.
Why does it ask for permissions?
Tabs and tab groups to read the links and group names you copy, storage for your format setting, clipboard and offscreen so the shortcut can copy without opening a page, and scripting only for the Google Keep button. No access to the websites you visit.
Can I change the shortcut?
Yes – open chrome://extensions/shortcuts, or click a key in the extension's settings. There you can also set a key for “copy and close”.
