Privacy, in short.
ImageSearcher collects no data. No analytics, no tracking, no accounts, no cookies. The only thing that ever leaves your browser is the image you explicitly choose to search — sent straight to Google Lens. Everything else runs locally on your device.

What data is transmitted?
Only the image you select yourself — and only at the moment you search. Without your action, nothing is sent to Google Lens or anywhere else.
What is stored locally?
Only your language setting for the screenshot instructions (30 languages available), kept in chrome.storage. There is no history and no profile of your searches.
Is there tracking or advertising?
No. ImageSearcher contains no ads and uses no analytics, tracking or profiling services. No user data is ever sold or shared.
Why does ImageSearcher need permissions?
Context menu for right-click search, activeTab to capture the visible area for screenshots, and storage for your language setting. No broad access to your browsing.
