What data is transmitted?
None. Copy HTML makes no network requests to external servers. The HTML is read directly from the active tab, formatted, and copied to your clipboard.
What is stored locally?
Only your formatting preferences (Formatted/Raw/Minified, filters for <script> and <style> tags) in chrome.storage.sync. There is no history and no profile of your copies.
Is there tracking or advertising?
No. Copy HTML contains no ads and uses no analytics, tracking or profiling services. No user data is ever sold or shared.
Why does Copy HTML need permissions?
activeTab and scripting to read the tab's HTML — triggered exclusively by your click or keyboard shortcut. contextMenus for the right-click options, storage for your preferences.
